Homecoming

My Dad and his new wife Cindy watched our kids for the entire 10 days we were gone. It was so great knowing they were being looked after by such wonderful people. They barely even missed us; they were having so much fun with their grandparents. Cindy actually watched them for the last three days all on her own. She helped them work together on this welcome home banner for us. It was so cute. Our flight was 3 hours late on the way home and the kids stayed up late watching a movie with grandma waiting for us to bring their souvenirs.

We bought this pair of sunglasses for Maili because they were a near perfect match for my glasses. We've gone snow skiing about once a week this year and each time we go the same guy is always running the Sunnyside lift at Alta. He has a thing for white sunglasses and each week he looks at my glasses and makes a comment about how amazingly cool my glasses are - even though he knows he just saw them the week before. So I've pointed out to my kids that if the lift line guy thinks my glasses are cool then they must be the coolest glasses in the world. I knew Maili would appreciate having an identical pair. We'll have to see if the guy notices her glasses next week.
